In the famous poem by Robert Frost, he says, "Two roads diverged in a wood and I - I took the one less traveled by and that has made all the difference."
In America, and all over the world today, there are two roads diverging. One is a road that will bring us to place of love, joy, compassion, and the seven fruits of the spirit. It is a path of expansion. If we choose this path, our life will be rich with the blessings of God and most rewarding.
Should we choose the other path, we will be lead to a desolate, dark place of destruction. A place filled with hated, lies and death. A place of filthy words and even filthier deeds. This place will bring great evil and darkness to the soul. God has given you free will to choose. He has given you the knowledge of good and evil. His Laws are written in your heart. Which road will you take. The Lord, God commands us, "Choose ye this day, whom ye shall serve, for ye cannot serve God and mamon for you will love the one and hate the other. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. Whom do you choose to serve? A life based on the commandments or the hatred of the evil one who seeks to corrupt your soul. Will you listen to the Father of Lies.
It's so easy to spread hate today. Just look and listen and you can see its ugly head and hear its nasty voice. However, we have a choice. We can be a part of the crowd that's going that way, or we can choose to stand in and for love.
Is the road ahead an easy one? Of course not. Is it worth it? Absolutely!
Even when we fall short of loving, we must try again and again. After all, God is Love and they who dwell in Love dwell in God and God in them. I know that's where I want to dwell. How about you?
Two roads diverged in a wood and I - I took the one less traveled by and that has made all the difference...
